A man of passion

Gosh! There are just So many things to post.... so little time to do it.

Anyway.. went JB yesterday to visit my old friend, Shine. Really gotta thank her for creating the chance for me to get out of Singapore, though it was just a short neighbouring distance (unlike most of you who travel to Taiwan, Hongkong, Korea ect), we were glad just to breath the air of a different nation... City lifestyle is chocking me somehow.

The whether was good, however the traffic was kind of heavy at Tuas checkpoint when we drive in around 3pm. Fortunately we packed some fast food and lunch inside the car and wasn't too bother by the jam anyway.

I am embarrass to confess that after one actual visit and a few attempt from Ricky(shine's current owner) trying to enlighten me with instruction furnish with information and map, I am still pretty much like a Kookoo bird, scare, confuse and horrify to drive there alone without someone in front of me to follow... I don't know why... whenever I enter into Malaysia's boundary, I automatically will freeze, it's like a lightning shocking and paralyzing my hands and legs I couldn't take control of the steering and pedal properly... that's tragically shameful of me.

So...as usual, I needed this compassionate, kind, enduring and understanding guy, who never fail giving us accommodation like a hotel guess to wait for me just after the Malaysia Custom and guide me in to his house... Ricky is really a cool guy, very calm and very generous too. Never made us in anyway feel we are bothering them, and their hospitality was ..'ahem'.. really really great. And most importantly, they(Ricky and wife Weiling) never made us feel their acting.. one way you can tell is, how they really treat and love their dogs.

Taking care of one dog is commitment. Taking care of 9 dogs in my opinion is 'commit suicide'... without absolute love, passion and devotion, pls pls pls don't try this at home just because I said I salute them. To Rick and Weiling : I hail you both the heroes of the dogs and you really have my respect!.

PICTURE ABOVE: Weiling throwing a ball for Obama to catch. A few of their dogs are named after US presidents, that makes me wonder if it is the love of them or? lol

PICTURE ABOVE: That's Ricky, maintaining the pool specially for the dogs. Beside him was Piper the hunter... Piper love to catch fish and that's why I call him the Hunter.

5 PICTURES ABOVE: These are pictures of Obama diving into the pool in style.. He's the only dog of them all who will do the diving, very funny though, all of their dogs have it own personality and character so unique and exclusive you can easily separate them from one another.

Cut down the buying and play more

Using toys the way they were not intended to be used. It's amazingly fun and stress free.

After a trip to the Zoo, it's time to settle the little people to their beds.(Craft felt were used as their blankets and blocks as their beds)

It's morning time. Getting everyone out of their bed and making their beds.

Celebrating the little people's 1 year old birthday.(Golf pin as the candle, block and mosaic as cake, puzzle as their seats)

Cutting the cake and sharing with everyone.(Stack and tumble cups were used)

Driving them to school and everyone please go to your seats.
Gracia:"I want to be the teacher" and started to teach.

3rd yi zhang:"Ok Gracia, can shift your toys, it's dinner time." and she broke into loud cries. She is totally into the fun that it takes a while for her to accept it's dinner time.. :)

Amazingly fun! We spent a fruitful evening together while waiting for gangsterdad to return from work with a real cake.

Hippity-hop Hoppity-hop

What to do when I feel tiredness in me. I feel like slacking but Gracia will definitely not slack.... So this is what we did.

Hippity-hop Hoppity-hop...

Then she decided to draw mummy. Do I look like an alien? Hee. I am proud to comment I am impressed by her drawing! It looks completely like me! Lol!

Adding legs and shoes for me... Now I look normal. Well..perfect! I can say.. : ) but Gracia... where are mummy's hands?

She drew daddy's face too, with only one eye. Or if I understand correctly from her view, there are 3 circles which represents 2 eyes and 1 nose. :P

The rain won't be coming anytime soon... so we brought out the pail and scrub. How easy to wash away the chalk..

A bonus for a slacking mum: A tired kid which will guarantee an early night rest. :)

Just another dandelions picture.

A unsuccessful image

I'd had seen images of trees without leaves and i love the shapes of these branches against the sky. They are very sculptural and lovely. Recently i spotted a similar tree just opposite Potong Pasir, along Upp Serangoon Road. With great anticipation, I brought Gracia there asking her to stand right in front of the tree and snapped a few shots hoping it would turn out captivating. While I am delight with the tree which appeal to me pretty artistic, I almost forgotten there was suppose to be a little girl name Gracia which is my sweetly little pie included in the photo. I nearly wanted to withdraw my magnifying glass and inspect the picture thoroughly.

Hello Gracia, are you not supposed to stand?
You're already so small comparing the big tall tree and you squad down to made it even worst...omg!

But lets not pushed all the blame on her... another way to improve this kind of images i think is a zoom or wide angle lens... I suppose a wide angle might do a better job if i can stand nearer so that Gracia will not look so small and the circumference of the tree would still be capture altogether.... I will save for a wide angle lens for sure...

My first super delicious, super yummy breakfast

"Do you want to help mummy to prepare my breakfast so I can bring to work and eat?" and I get a very excited Yes! from Gracia... : ) First comes the peanut butter.

Next, she decided she wanted raspberry jam on the other piece of bread (while I do not prefer that, I do not bear to spoil her enthusiam and creativity)...

Packing the bread nicely for me.

When I reached the office, I took it out and it tasted super delicious and yummy! & I think I like raspberry afterall. : )
