CALLING IT QUIT AFTER

After 11 years of slavery under extreme physical condition... I finally feel a sense of liberation.... more than that, i am soon going to be released, discharged and set free....

I am proud of myself though for being able to stay for a job so long, not by force, not by imprisonment but by my own unbreakable perseverance and a unsinkable tolerance attitude. It's not just an ordinary job you know. I had withstand countless heavy rain in the wee hour, wet from head to toe (i was told it's ok that I get wet, but made sure the newspaper is dry) while most of you were tucked under your warm cosy blanket, hugging and cuddling one another (for those who has a partner), I became a Luo Tang Zhee.

Sometime the overwhelming Sun feel no shy, pouring her formidable flame unto mother earth... with such intensely hot whether now's a day, measuring 34-35*c.... I can't help but to salute those construction worker...

Aside from the whether condition that depreciate a whole lot of my physical health, I consider myself also a patient who suffered from acute sleeping disorder. I slept almost less than 6 hours a day, everyday, 365 days a year for 11 years... that's very bad... very very bad. And to make it sound worst, my 6 hours of sleep is break into section, not a one shot marathon sleep....

Beside all these physical challenges I had gone through, mental or emotional scarifies were also in the package... There were friends or relative birthday and wedding celebration I cannot attend because of it timing... when some relatives of mine back from Holland, I am usually the one missed out when they want to go pub, karaoke or supper... my social life was constrain only to alternate Sunday, when I will get my precious two days off every month(off but still have to wake up 2am for night paper)... and usually will be with my family or In-Law... very limited and i feel almost like a handicap...

Huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But all of these will be written as history of my life from next month onwards..... 11 years of slavery, I am FINALLY calling it QUIT.... Thank Goodness. Thank God. Thank everyone who wishes me good.

And for the first time in our marriage, i am bringing my wife for a holiday to Genting Highland next month... huh.... you guys never know how i feel... no one will ever know... huh..... FREEDOM!

................. I USED TO WORK WHEN I HAD A FEVER, MEASURING 38.5*C...............

5 balloons for who?

Yesterday night gangsterdad & I were so very surprised cos we have never taken a serious approach to teaching Gracia about numbers. A little family conversation went like this before the lights were off,

Gangsterdad: Tomorrow daddy will pass by the bookshop & buy bubbles & balloons for you okie. How many balloons do you want?

Gracia spreading wide her 5 fingers and show it to us: 1 for gugu(aunt), 1 for Zander(cousin), 1 for daddy, 1 for mummy & 1 for Gracia!

That's exactly 5! Haha! So surprised she can match numbers to the correct number of people & it's definitely great that she wants to give gifts to her loved ones.: )

I hate studying for exam

169 names of buildings. 115 Apartments, a couple hundreds of names including sports complex, shopping malls, hospitals, places of interest, recreation and country clubs, embassies just to mention a few.... and there are the streets and routes direction that blow my mind into potato...

oh goodness i had no idea it was so hard!!! and tiring and blistering to my eyes... i feel blood flowing out from my eye ball... now i wish i were a dog. Like those sleeping around our neighbourhood. They're really at peace with the world and everything. running around and exploring, burying stuff and digging them up, chasing rats, finding food blah blah. No studying! Sigh. I'm such a pessimist when come to exam or test. I only love reading for leisure sake... Well give me something to be optimistic about then. Perhaps passing my vocational licence on my first attempt...

Bunny & Ice-cream

I want to say a big thank you to Gracia's xiao-yi Lisa for her generous gift to little Gracia. Playing with play-doh started to get more fun when Lisa took out her soft toy bunny and moulded a purple hat for the bunny & I took the chance to mould 2 carrots, a decoration to the hat & the other for the bunny's food.

Next, mummy moulded an ice cream for me to eat! She knows I love rainbow rice (sorry folks, not sure if this is the correct term to use) & made a strawberry flavoured ice cream topped with rainbow rice for me! Yummy! I love it & I'm going to share it with Ben kor kor! We love it!
