Spectacles no more

Hurray!
No more banging on the wall because of fogging glasses when I get out of an air-conditioned place or drinking hot soup.

Guess what?
A week ago, I finally went for the LASIK surgery on my eyes. I had been thinking about doing it for a long time, if not for my broken spectacle, I may still be procastinating because it's beyong my budget. But recent clinic competition has encourage the price to fall, and with a 24 months interest free installment plan, what's more to wait!

I am so happy I don't have to wake up to the world of blur and wiping accidental finger prints off my glasses.
And shooting every picture when using my DSLR makes more easy.
Before my surgery, I always wondered what kinda haircut my hairdresser is giving me. Now, I can spot if my sideburn is unevenly level. "Hello, Hairdresser, do you hear me?"

But most importantly, I can look stylo-milo again with sunglasses bought from the counter. Steady steady poo pee pee la....

Photo....Gosh..... PHOTO!!!!!!!

It has been a while since i shoot photograph of my little Gracia.
I just wanna say, she's so cooperative. Every time i asked her to sit,
stand or pose for me, she will.
You are such a lovely girl Gracia,
daddy just can't love you enough.

Image below:Posing for me holding against a tree,
like a indian women in love in a bollywood movie.

Image below:Sitting under a tree and playing with
pebbles and stone while I tried to capture the blue
sky and the cotton wool on it.

Image below:There is actally a metal slide on this picture.
But it was burning when we tried to sit on it.
So we decided to slide on the patch of grass surrounding it...
Guess what... it makes a perfect picture, don't you think so?
(I am wondering why made a slide using metal to burn your ass esp when the sun's shining.)

Image below:Oh ya... whitering flower
laying all over under the tree. I saw this sence at the
entrance of the car park and told myself I am not going
to miss this shot. This picture was taken after all the
activities and both of us were actually pretty exhausted.
Luckily I insisted and Gracia too was cooperative...

What else can i say.... I am loving it.

My first shot after repaired

One more week before my reservist ends... gotta make full use of it. We're planning to take a ride on the Singapore Flyers next week with two free tickets. Hopefully, we can capture a few good shot from high.

Our Cheeky Gal.

I just wanted to post some pics because they make me oh, !

She is cracking me up lately with her cheeky cheeky expression. I love it and she never fail to make us laugh. Ah, . But I think I've said that at every stage of her life. :)

It's been really fun taking pictures of her creamy & cheeky face. I can't help but to edit and change our blog header for a good laughing reason.... lol

Sunrise

You don't need somebody to interpret for you what a beautiful sunrise it is. I saw the ray coming thru from my window blind yesterday morning and i thought if every year is a marble, how many marbles do you have left? How many sunrises, how many opportunities to rise to the full stature of your being? I quickly grabbed my Canon baby, slided open the window and this is what i recieved.

What is the good of your stars and trees, your sunrise and the wind, if they do not enter into our daily lives?

The sunrise doesn't always look this way from my window though, I thank God for this beautiful morning.

Guess where and how i took this photo above?

I took it just below my house, it's the reflextion of the rear wind screen of my van. I had edit and set the exposure higher so that you can see me in the picture.

Photo Try Out

My first attempt on a night scene using a slow shutter spend of 10' sec. Without a tripod, i had to try a number of times to get the surrounding look sturdy. Anyway, this is just a trial. I am planning to shoot a night scene of Boat Quay when i am on my reservist next coming 2 weeks. That's the only time i can stay out late.

Image:Road behind my block, Pasir Ris St21. I climbed over a bridge to shoot it.
