Toddlers are notoriously headstrong and their favorite word is “no”. Time to get dressed. No! Time to take your shower. No! Stop playing with the food. No! Take those peas out of your nose. No! No! No!

We had our fair share of NOs from our little Gracia ever since she learn this word from 'dunno who', me or mummy? Anyway, we had been dealing with her "no" more often lately during her brushing teeth session. Every time mummy raise the issue of brushing her teeth, she will automatically say "no!I dun wanna brush teeth". We had used a couple of method to encourage her like using her fav soft toy (oscar fish) as a leading example. Sometime daddy used fear factor by telling her that if she don't brush her teeth, incy wincy spider will come and bite them because they are so dirty and spider like dirty things, but Lina restrian me to used fear factor too often worrying that she might have a phobia for spider in the future.

Now we realize that she is two. She’s trying to establish her own routines and exert her own opinions. The problem is, she’s two. She does’t understand why she needs to brush her teeth no matter how many times we may explain it to her. So our brilliant mummy bought a Elmo book showing Elmo brushing teeth and enjoying it, and here it goes (monkey see monkey do).

She is an absolute doll! I completely understand why Lina being paranoid about her teeth. My girls front tooth was decaying before we get really tough with brushing it.
Don't know what the cause really is, maybe it was breastfeed on demand at night. Whatever it is, we are glad we are starting to prevent her teeth from decaying even more. And most probably we will find a pediatric dentist for a assessment evaluation for her tooth one of this day.

Art in Macdonald's

PHOTO TAKEN FROM A SONY ERRICSON HP.

During one of the weekend Gracia and I stayed over at my mum's place because gangsterdad fell sick. It was a great bonding time over the weekend with my parents and her "ah yis". We were chatting in Macdonald's and not paying attention to Gracia when san yi suddenly notice what Gracia was quietly doing, decorating the sauce with fries! (no one has taught her this before)I'm thinking, she must have picked this up from baby tv. Hahaha! Decorating on the tomato sauce does not seem to quench her thirst for creativity. Finally... two plates of nicely decorated tomato and chilli sauce on the table. My little artist Gracia... mummy and daddy love you to bits!! So, would you like to be a chef when you grow up? : )

I pray to God to give those who are in need of spiritual renewal, a clean heart and mind that hears God. I pray to God to let us all grow in more love for You. Keep our hearts close to you Lord and Your commandments close to our hearts forever and ever and ever. Amen.

Happy Hour? No... it's HAPPY EARTH HOUR , Yea! We participated together with the rest of the world For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background. You have the opportunity to use the light switch as your vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009, and we have decided to be part of the voters to save mother earth.

Not only did we do a favor for our planet, we were actually having fun especially Gracia. And I really enjoyed taking my shower only with a candle in the bathroom, it's really kind of romantic and I feel really really .

Will definitely take part again in the future. Happy Earth Hour!

Who has spectacles who has not?

It has been weeks since Gracia "tore" my pair of glasses apart and luckily it is still intact with a slight bent on the sides. Last Sunday, I brought Gracia along to the optical shop and put it on immediately after some adjustments from the optician.

Gracia: Woah! So nice!

Mummy: Mummy look so nice with the glasses on is it.

Gracia: Yes.

Daddy joined us a while later after work to have some Macdonald's ice cream and I was sharing with him where we been and what we did. I think Gracia must have been listening to us all the while.

Gracia (pointing at daddy): Daddy's specs.

Gracia (pointing at mummy): Mummy's specs.

Gracia (pointing at herself): Gracia no specs. (waving her hands)

Paul and I broke into laughter as this was the first time we heard Gracia relating the 3 of us together in her talk. : )

To the malicious insect that bites our girl.

Hell-low! I don't care if you're a spider a ticks, a mites, a mosquito, flies, fleas, ants, bees, wasps or whatever kind of insect! And i don't care if you're six, eight or hundreds legged dirty little worm... I am warning you in the name of GANGSTERDAD, the daddy of the girl whom you had been joyfully biting, sucking and stinging her flesh religiously for a couple of week.

You had been biting our poor Gracia's legs and hands that leave scars and marks which forced us to made sure she wear long sleeves shirt and long pant especially during the night. But now, you ignore our worried as a parent and continue your aggression by biting on her face despite our effort to covered her up defensively.

You're making us mad I am telling you. If you're fortunate enough not to die in the hand of gansterdaddy for some reason, I bet you would not be so lucky to pass thru her ferocious mummy whom wants to destroy every possible shelter or hole you're hiding. She had already asked me to throw away our bed believing that you might be cowardly hiding inside, if you're really inside our bed, you should thank God, or thank my mom for stopping her to do so.

But let me warn you, if you ever try biting our girl again. I don't care if it is her leg, her hands, her face or her buttock, as long as she is been bitten. You're dead.. you really are not going to escape this time. I guarantee you, and I will bet my last dollar that you will not live another day to see the Sun (Oh...btw, you seldom or never see the Sun, because you're a creepy little coward that hides and only comes out when it's dark, such a poor thing). Mummy will surely do whatever it take even if at the expense of turning our house up side down, I am warning you, if you wanna test her limit, be her guest.

Photo....Gosh..... PHOTO!!!!!!!

It has been a while since i shoot photograph of my little Gracia.
I just wanna say, she's so cooperative. Every time i asked her to sit,
stand or pose for me, she will.
You are such a lovely girl Gracia,
daddy just can't love you enough.

Image below:Posing for me holding against a tree,
like a indian women in love in a bollywood movie.

Image below:Sitting under a tree and playing with
pebbles and stone while I tried to capture the blue
sky and the cotton wool on it.

Image below:There is actally a metal slide on this picture.
But it was burning when we tried to sit on it.
So we decided to slide on the patch of grass surrounding it...
Guess what... it makes a perfect picture, don't you think so?
(I am wondering why made a slide using metal to burn your ass esp when the sun's shining.)

Image below:Oh ya... whitering flower
laying all over under the tree. I saw this sence at the
entrance of the car park and told myself I am not going
to miss this shot. This picture was taken after all the
activities and both of us were actually pretty exhausted.
Luckily I insisted and Gracia too was cooperative...

What else can i say.... I am loving it.
